The iconic 130 year old Transcontinental Hotel is one of Queensland’s longest running bars and has recently undergone major renovations to become one of the newest vintage wedding venues in Brisbane.
With a nod to it’s history, the renovation sees exposed brick walls opposite painted walls with white trimmings & varnished dark timber floors. In the centre of the venue is an elegant and dramatic staircase which is every brides dream location for stunning wedding gown shots.
I think my favourite detail of the renovation has to be the quaint balcony with wrought iron detail which adds a bit of romantic charm. With a classic style, this venue can easily appeal to both brides and grooms and the furnishings chosen lend themselves to suit all manner of wedding styles.
We would also like to thank Adam Finch Photographer for the stunning images of the venue.
