I know a large number of you have been anxiously awaiting the news of the next issue of our magazine and today we have all of the details!!
To coincide with the change of our name, the publication you are asking for at your local newsagent is Vintage Bride magazine Issue 1 and here is the cover………..
A very special thank you to photographer Cory Rossiter, Hair & Makeup by The Beauty Case, Retro Bride gown & model Gemma White. We absolutely adored this image and feel it really sums up our fun loving brides!
This issue will be on sale in newsagents nationally from Monday 10th March!!!
And what will you find inside? Well we take to the streets of Brisbane for our fashion shoot which showcases tea length and short wedding dress ideas for the modern vintage bride and we also teamed up with some fabulous vendors to create a kitch 60s inspiration shoot that took place at Shucked Coffee House. Angela from Unveiled Weddings & Events shares a mod 60s scooter inspiration shoot and also shares with us some great insight to help you through choosing some of the most important vendors for your wedding.
We also introduce you all to steampunk themed weddings with some advice on how to create your own steampunk inspired wedding, we showcase some fabulous wedding vendors on wheels & help you through the process of choosing the right veil for your gown.
As usual we also have some gorgeous real weddings from a laid back Canberra country wedding to an exquisitely designed barn reception filled with an abundance of hand sourced pieces, right through to a less traditional wedding with the most incredible gown we have seen in a long time (and no it’s not ivory). You will have to grab a copy to see for yourself!!!
We are so very excited to share with you this issue and can’t wait to hear from you all your thoughts!
Want to find your nearest stockist? Click here for our national stockists (it’s in postcode order to help you out!)
Can’t find a stockist near you? That’s ok, we will have copies for sale directly via our website, however these will not go on sale for 2 weeks after they are released in newsagents as we encourage everyone to support the newsagents who are supporting us and purchase from them where at all possible. (and if your local newsagent doesn’t currently stock it, ask them to request it for next issue!!)
We will also be launching annual subscriptions which can commence with the March issue so you can have either 6 months or a year of Vintage Bride sent directly to your door if you can’t get to a newsagent easily.
Happy wedding planning!!
