It was such a lovely day on Sunday 18th August when we got together with some of our favourite vintage and handcrafted wedding vendors to hold The Vintage and Handmade Wedding Fair! Set in the heritage building at the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds we had over 40 amazing businesses showcasing their products and services throughout 3 areas. It was a constant stream of blushing brides and grooms and we have heard so many lovely stories from them about how wonderful everyone was and what a fun day was had by all. I think the icing on the cake (pardon the pun!!) for me was the delicious high tea’ss served by Vintage Flair.
For those of you who missed the day, or those who honestly didn’t know where to look first in the wedding wonderland that it was, Brian from KISSstudio has sent to us a fabulous collection of images from the day. I was also scooting around with my little handy cam capturing some video from the day that I have found a super cool program to “super8-ify” video…. so I’m hoping to find some spare minutes in the not so distant future to share that as well!
We also want to thank Lynne Cargill from Weekend Notes who attended the fair as Mother of the Bride and also wrote this lovely wrap up about the day and plug for our next fair in February at Eagle Farm Racecourse: http://www.weekendnotes.com/vintage-handmade-wedding-fair-eagle-farm-racecourse/
Thank you again to all of the gorgeous couples and their friends and families who came along and to our fabulous wedding professionals involved who all made it such an incredibly lovely day!!
Thanks again KISSstudio for these great shots!
