Inspired by seersucker and pink, this shoot took place at the historic 1906 Thomas House and Garden in South Carolina. The front veranda served as a beautiful backdrop to the round tables with gold chiavari chairs and pink rose centrepieces. Everything down to the menu cards was pure southern perfection. The bride, a picture of timeless glamour, wore the most darling 1960’s inspired wedding dress featuring floral and bead-work detail with the most darling little short sleeves. To add to the gorgeous vintage southern style, the groom is dapper in a pale blue seersucker suit, one of my favourite suit styles for fun, old school style weddings in warmer weather as the cotton fibres are so breathable.
A tea station with vintage glasses, pink Badgley Mischka shoes, delicious dessert bar, seersucker cake, vintage furniture rentals, a porch swing, and many other details combined for a picturesque shoot. The granite stepping stone in the backyard was once used for ladies to enter their horse drawn carriages (and the perfect backdrop to show off the brides incredible shoes)!
