It always gives us lovely warm and fuzzies when we receive real weddings such as this gorgeous couple photographed by SilverEdge Photography. As must as we love great portraiture, often photographers overlook all of the little details when capturing someones special day. It is all of those small touches that come together to create the wonderful day and they are the details we often forget as time goes on. We love details!!! This stunning wedding of Suse and Mike is simply filled with lovely details and we couldn’t help but share them all with you!
Sophie from SilverEdge Photography remembers, “Suse and Mike’s Byron Bay hinterlands wedding was certainly one of the most romantic and intimate rainy weddings we’ve been honoured to photograph – it was simply BEAUTIFUL! They exchanged vows at Verandahs, a stunning property amongst the green hills of Coorabell, then traveled in vintage model Holden cars to the nearby Harvest Cafe in Newrybar”
“I was so thankful for the amazing talent and wonderful styling of Luciana Bredis who managed to turn us into beauty queens for a day. Sophie and Wendy from SilverEdge Photography arrived and despite the chaos managed to calm the bride and get the most wonderful photos,” recalls Susan.
I love, love, love nanna photos – what a truly special part of any brides day having her nanna there to celebrate with her!!!
“ We wanted a romantic country styling for our wedding and the property we chose for our ceremony was perfect. The stunning gardens and majestic views of Verandahs were going to be perfect for our big day“, says Susan the bride.
“On the morning of our wedding day we woke to torrential rain, and as the cloud and mist rolled in visibility was less than 100 meters. After I stopped hyperventilating about what I was calling “flood rain” Deborah Morgan from Verandahs, Estelle Montlouis from the French Petal and Jane Magnus from Harvest Cafe worked tirelessly to transform the gorgeous wrap around verandah into our new and very intimate ceremony location. Verandahs certainly lived up to its namesake.”
“I was extremely nervous before walking down the aisle but I knew once I saw Mike all would be ok. Our celebrant Michelle Shannon was so wonderful. I had met Michelle before so knew how beautiful she was and was blessed that she could marry Mike and me.”
“Our reception was held at Harvest Cafe in Newrybar and the staff there did such a fantastic job, not to mention the food, which was out of this world! We danced the night away in the 100 year old bakery of Harvest to the soulful tunes of Vanessa Baker and the Electric Eclectic. They are such a great funky band that you couldn’t help but groove to.”Ceremony Venue: Verandahs, Coorabell. NSW Reception Venue: Harvest Café, Newrybar.
