Historic venues really do lend themselves perfectly to a truly vintage inspired wedding. These vintage venues are generally furnished with stunning original vintage dining chairs, tables, occasional furniture as well as large ornate mirrors & dazzling crystal chandeliers. To add to the historic charm all is needed are beautiful crystal glassware, fine china table wear and some fabulous table centrepieces. This look is easily achieved either by the venues talented in house design team or can be created by the bridal couple and their family if they have special personal touches to include such as family silverware or toasting glasses.
This gorgeous old world glamour inspired shoot took place at North Carolina’s historic Palo Alto Plantation and provides the perfect backdrop to a historic inspired wedding. To add a very special touch this shoot even included a beautiful white horse and carriage – something that you just don’t see much of these days when it comes to weddings. With venues that feature a grand entrance, arriving in style by horse and carriage creates a truly magical start to a beautiful wedding ceremony or reception. The other detail which in my opinion is complete perfection in this shoot is the elaborate white and gold wedding cake. Such incredible detail! It ties in so beautifully with the ornate gold and crystal chandeliers of the venue!!
