Industrial style is very in right now, with couples starting to move to an “edgier” look compared to romantic, rustic weddings. This recent shoot is a wonderful example of how industrial elements can blend with soft romantic florals and textures to create a visual feast. With a colour palette of blues, greys, peach and a pop of mustard yellow, these colours were the perfect complement to the old mills brick walls and hardwood floors. To add another textural layer they also chose cement blocks for decorative elements as well as copper accents in the dining chairs and cutlery, providing a creative new alternative to gold and marble which has been featured in abundance lately.
For this shoot the team also selected a gorgeous two piece wedding dress, and who can even tell it is a two piece dress when you see the fitted lace bodice sitting over the full organza ballgown style skirt!? Two piece gowns offer more fitting flexibility than a traditional one piece gown when purchasing off the rack and also bring modern fashion styling to a gorgeous vintage inspired overall look.
