Chelsea & Wyatt’s vision for their wintery New Years Eve wedding was to ensure it truly reflected the two of them as well as their relationship as much as possible. With this in mind they chose to create much of the decorative elements themselves – and boy did they do a fantastic job!
In making the decor themselves, it proved to be the perfect opportunity for them to spend quality time not only together but with their families. Wyatt’s family, in particular his mother, helped to work on almost all of the DIY projects which ended up strengthening Chelsea’s relationship with his family all the more in the process.
Among the spectacular DIY pieces they created were the showstopping barn doors, the perfectly rustic cake and dessert stands which featured an array of delicious sweet treats and all of the super cute signage throughout the venue. One of the absolute cutest touches was the rustic ice baths featuring personalised beer labels on all of the bottles and the mason jar glasses with labels ready for guests to add their own name – no confusion over whose glass it is!
To add to the wonderfully warm feeling of family, the couple were fortunate enough to be married by Chelsea’s brother which was a wonderful memory for the couple to share together.
