Bride’s Survival Kit

A happy bride is a prepared bride.  There is so much to think of when preparing for your wedding day, but a few items are absolutely essential to have handy ‘just in case’.  To help you out we’ve put together our list of essential items to have on hand throughout the entire day.  This list will by far surpass the capacity of your darling little matching purse, but throw it all in a cute tote and when you head off to say ‘i do’ pop it in the bridal car or somewhere else that will be handy for you throughout the day.

Retro Bride

 

  • Needle
  • Thread (to match both bride and bridesmaids dresses)
  • Scissors
  • Breath mints
  • Hairspray
  • Spare bobby pins
  • Crochet hook (if you have tricky buttons to loop up, this is a massive time saver!)
  • Tampons / liner
  • Spare pantyhose (only if you are wearing pantyhose of course)
  • Foldable ballet flats if wearing heels
  • Double sided tape
  • Safety pins
  • Nail file
  • Bandaids
  • Lipstick and compact to match what you are wearing for touch ups
  • Tissues / hanky
  • Pain killers of your choice
  • Antacids
  • Straws (handy if you are sipping champagne after the makeup artists have left)
  • Stain remover wipes
  • Bottle of water and energy bar / muesli bar
