The weekend of Alyssa and Jordan’s wedding was the weekend that Hurricane Florence ravaged the east coast of America. The area was anticipating an inundation of rain, floods and damage. Alyssa had planned for an outdoor ceremony and reception but the weather gods truly shone down on them as they ended up with the wedding of their dreams without any rain.
Alyssa wore a stunning figure hugging lace gown which had a low back and sweeping train. Her bridesmaids chose gowns in varying shades of dusky mauve which blended in perfectly with the floral arrangements. Jordan looked dapper in his 3-piece suit alongside his groomsmen in a slightly less formal but no less sharp vest and trouser ensemble.
The couple were married in an intimate outdoor ceremony featuring a rustic arch adorned with floral arrangements and sweeping sheer fabric. The use of lush green potted ferns made a lovely addition to the ceremony styling as this added an extra touch of rich colour. As the venue was a vineyard they also placed old wine barrels in the alter area which gave a rustic feel to the ceremony. The rolling green grounds of Athena Farm & Vineyard created a picturesque photography backdrop.
