Dynamic sister duo Emily Gavranich and Liz Szabo of Lady Vintage Wears recently collaborated with Monarch Photography and Gold Coast Flowers to showcase some of their 50’s and 60’s wedding gems. Gorgeous original vintage frocks are becoming more and more rare so it’s lovely to see a shoot featuring original gems!
Emily says “Our model is wearing an original vintage 1960’s wedding dress with chapel train in empire a-line style, including stunning sheer illusion lace neckline with matching trim on train, perfect for that one of a kind dress every vintage bride is dreaming of.”
“Our second model Erin wears 2 fantastic examples of 1950’s fashion, the first a chiffon stargazer grey dress which she accessories with hat from her own personal creation from Evelyn Ellenor Mad Hattery’”.
“The next dress Kelly from Monarch Photography captured is another original 1950’s pleated blue dress with polka dot shelf bust and is accessorised with stunning citrine inspired matching brooch and screw on earrings set” says Emily.
The entire vintage inspired wedding look was topped off by flowers by Gold Coast Flowers and Gifts, with Floral Designer Danie Richardson incorporating traditional styles in the bouquet.
“We used roses and what is commonly known I the industry as ‘retro’ as greenery, given it was a vintage themed shoot using retro just seemed right!”
“At Gold Coast Flowers and Gifts we are really flexible around each individual couples floral needs and are happy to tailor flowers to suit the theme”.
Although Lady Vintage Wears does not have shop, both Emily and Lizzy hit the vintage and rockabilly market scene. For details on where they will next be exhibiting head to their facebook page.
