First of all I need to start off this post to explain that I haven’t had a momentary lapse and forgotten what country we live in! Recently I have been meeting an incredibly large number of Australian brides who are busy planning an elopement in New York City. Whenever I meet brides who are marrying in the US, I often wonder where I would choose if it were me. I actually almost eloped in Vegas when we got engaged but thoughts of our parents missing out made the decision for us.
As a huge history buff and also a growing interest in architecture of historical significance I have a real love for Museums of Natural History throughout the states. Most of us would know the NYC museum from “Night at the Museum” but there are several other fantastic ones throughout the US and there are actually some great state and national museums right here in Australia.
To inspire all of you who are considering a “Night at the Museum” I’ve put together some of my favourite images of weddings in museums of natural history.
For most of us an american museum is simply not an option, but there are however some fantastic state and national museums here in Australia that could work really well. With a fantastic style team on board you could create a museum wedding right here in our own backyard.
