Vintage Wedding Accessory Trend – Tiaras

You heard it first from Vintage Bride – I’m tipping a resurgence in the popularity of tiara’s for wedding accessories in the coming years.  Now stop those groans thinking about the 80s and early 90s with the tacky monstrosities that adorned brides on the cover of fashionable wedding magazines.  There are a quite a number of options available for the tiara look and they don’t even need to feature sparkles.  I must admit I do love a little sparkle and I’m secretly chuffed to see more and more images of brides in tiaras surfacing but I equally love the simple versions that are available.

Whether you are already on board with ‘team tiara’ or feel a little more convincing is required before choosing your stance, I’ve found some of my favourite inspiration images. These images feature not only fabulously sparkling beauties but also some of the alternative options around that are still a tiara but on a less “glitzy” scale.

Holy amazing, this is one of my absolute favourite vintage inspired bridal accessories.  Agnes Hart are one of my favourite accessory designers and I’m completely in love with this 1930s inspired rhinestone beauty.

For brides who are all about authenticity and aren’t afraid of a little height with their tiara this one is a beauty.  Bichen Vintage have this incredible original 1930s tiara available for one very lucky bride.

If sparkles aren’t your thing then this is what I’m talking about!  Little Willow & Co‘s whimsical floral tiara is absolutely divine and would be perfect for a simple garden ceremony or even a bohemian style wedding.

Another very understated tiara that is still utterly gorgeous.  Edera Jewelry created this piece inspired by traditional orange blossom tiaras (which I loooooove).

Many tiaras have a silver base, so this lovely leaf design tiara in gold by Anna Marguerite is a wonderful option for those wanting a warmer tone with their hair accessory.
