Against the picturesque backdrop of Willow Creek Winery on the Mornington Peninsula, set a vintage inspired bridal table in Salix restaurant. Giving much loved vintage elements a fresh feel, from a table setting of mismatched crockery and vintage spools paired back against a modern colour palette of peach, blush and copper through to the floral table runner where succulents sat amongst a bed of roses.
With their tales of yesteryear and allure of travels to come, vintage suitcases displayed a pair of wedding cakes featuring copper accents, edible lace and handmade peonies. The cakes were complemented by cupcakes adorned with a single oversized peony sugar bloom.
Cathleen Jia’s 1940’s inspired range of bridal gowns complemented our fresh yet vintage approach, with all the elegance and detail of a vintage gown and the beautiful shape and silhouettes the modern bride is looking for.
Enjoy the best of both worlds with fresh modern colours and the nostalgia of vintage pieces, fall in love and get lost amongst the vineyard.
