Getting to know… The Beauty Case

It is no secret that we love the girls from The Beauty Case.  They have worked with us on a number of shoots recently including the two styled vendor shoots for The Vintage and Handmade Wedding Fair and also some fantastic shoots that will be featured in Issue 2 of our magazine (out in mid September nationally).  Khesanh & Elisse are such a professional team, but a tonne of fun….. there is never a dull moment when these two chicks are part of your day, that’s for sure…. and their work is fabulous!

We are really excited to have them showcasing their awesome work at the fair next weekend and we recently asked them a few questions about their fabulous biz….

Do you have a particular hair style or makeup style that you love for weddings?

Khesanh loves fresh and dewy skin with glossy lips and a golden Smokey eye!!
Elisse can’t go past a freshly brushed out pin curl set!!

What do you love most about doing hair and makeup?

We love creating a look for someone on the most important day of their life. The way we make them feel when they see themselves in the mirror and the first words out of their mouth are “Oh wow I love it”!! That makes us feel special.

What do you think are the upcoming trends for 2013/2014 weddings?

Because vintage themed weddings don’t rely on trends (except when The Great Gatsby was released) brides don’t have to worry about being on trend with their wedding. Just make sure it represents who you are as individuals and as a couple.

What can couples expect when they visit your stand in August?

Apart from 2 super cool chicks!! You can see all of our beautiful work from our past weddings and amazing styled shoots. We will be doing a few demos on the day. And lots of Chocolate and sweets!
