Lake Kawana Community centre was awash with colour on Saturday, 16th of March, as A Darling Affair took over for their Celebration Fair. With a little bit of everything, no one was left out. For the traditional party planner there was confetti, bubbles and balloons and for the not so traditional, a remote-control car race track, build your own flower arrangement and candy science.
Amongst the enthralled strode the newly betrothed and the eagerly awaiting. Brides-to-be found that there was more than enough to inspire. The vintage tea party glowed with floral perfection while the 1950s red and pink caravan was parked in the courtyard and the gourmet cupcakes begged to be sampled. There was tiered cake for every taste and a portrait artist that could reinvent your cherished moments. Food, flowers and fun were found in abundance surrounded by an ambience that can only be created by live music. The girls from A Darling Affair invented an atmosphere of inspiration for any occasion and it was impossible to leave without finding another excuse to celebrate.
